This year’s North Lanarkshire reading challenge, Read Around the World, began on Monday 20th April and will run until mid-September. Children and young people are invited to collect “Bookmiles”, complete reading passports and collect rewards as they go. Everyone who completes a passport will be awarded a certificate and medal which will be presented during the Words festival in October.
There will also be monthly prize draws and various activities to encourage our travellers in their local branches.
